In Flanders, apart from the coast, there are few places where you can freely swim in the open air. However, at Vosselare Put, just 3 km away from our campsite, it is allowed. A specially demarcated area with a quiet sunbathing area provides the necessary refreshment on hot summer days. At the clubhouse, you can order snacks and drinks. The water here is also regularly tested, ensuring you can always swim safely.

For those who prefer indoor swimming, Palaestra swimming pool in Deinze is the place to go. Guaranteed water fun for the whole family, featuring:

• A 25-meter pool with six lanes.
• An instructional pool for swimming lessons. (Private or group lessons.)
• A heated toddler and baby pool with a slide.
• A hot whirlpool garden with 4 bubble baths.
• The Turkish garden with four Turkish steam baths.

Our campsite focuses on nature, tourism, and enjoyment. Given our location near the Leie, kayaks are a must-have. They offer the ultimate water fun for every sporty water enthusiast.

We rent out several kayaks to our guests as part of our accommodation package. From our landing stage, you can paddle down the Leie towards Deinze or even Ghent.

Tip: You can reach Vosselare Put by kayak. It’s perfect for a mid-journey stop and a refreshing swim.

You can choose to paddle back and forth to and from the jetty. If you want us to pick up the kayak at a different location, we do charge a fee of 15 euros.
