Camping Groeneveld is peacefully situated near Deinze, nestled in a green surrounding, yet close to several tourist cities. If you’re looking to get away for a while with your tent, caravan, or camper, you’re warmly welcome at Camping Groeneveld. Backpackers and bikepackers can also find a comfortable stay in one of our cabins.
Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, adventurer, or a true culture fan, during your stay at our campsite everything is possible. Even the sea is just a forty-five-minute drive away.
Here, you’ll find all the necessary comforts and we have thought about everyone: a cozy bar, a fishing pond, bicycle rental, and more. Your dog is also welcome to join the fun. Camping with a tent
Whether you’re arriving with a small trekker’s tent or a large family tent, we have a suitable spot for everyone.
Caravan spots
Located near the Leie and surrounded by greenery, you can enjoy the tranquility and comfort of our campsite in your caravan. Check out our site map to view the available spots.
Camper spots
Are you travelling with a mobile home or van? Our motorhome sites are suitable for motorhomes up to 9m. The use of all facilities is included.
Cabins
Are you passing through as a backpacker or by bicycle? Enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep in a hiker’s hut. Choice between cabins for two and four persons.

Sanitary facilities
Our two sanitary blocks with showers, sinks, and toilets are regularly cleaned. There is also a separate washing area for babies provided. Additionally, you’ll find adapted facilities for people with special needs.
Bistro GROENEVELD
During the high season, our bistro is open every day from 2 pm to 10pm. Here we offer a basic assortment of small snacks, ice creams, and various types of beverages.
Recreation
Not only is there plenty to do in the surrounding area, but also right on the campsite. Enjoy the tranquility while fishing or have fun playing a game of petanque together. For the children, there’s a small but nice playground.

Our campground is located in the middle of nature and within biking distance of cultural gems, such as the castle of Ooidonk and wonderful Ghent.
Rent a bike
Directly from the campsite, you get access to some of the most scenic cycling routes. We are a bicycle-friendly accommodation recognized by Flanders, and have everything you need for optimal cycling pleasure.
Kajaking on the Leie
You don’t need to travel all the way to the Ardennes to go kayaking. It’s also possible on our beautiful Leie. We have provided several kayaks free of charge especially for our guests.
Swimming (in open air)
Fancy a refreshing dip on a warm summer day? Just 3 km away, you’ll find Vosselare Put, where you can swim safely in the open air. There’s also a swimming pool in Deinze.
